Why do computer noobs alway say respected techs only use Windows/MS and not Macs? (24 replies)

I've seen this phenomena in the comments of Washington Post and CNN tech articles. I'm not a white knight to any distro or maker....but Windows 8 for
the hardcore techs? LOL. That's like saying Ubuntu is for the hardcore.
